High-Integrity Gravity Flow Sampling: Introducing the FreeGlide™ In-Line System
In the pharmaceutical and food industries, maintaining product integrity during sampling is a constant challenge. Traditional samplers often obstruct the flow or physically alter the powder's characteristics. The FreeGlide™, a patented in-line powder sampler, solves these issues with a sophisticated, non-intrusive design.
Currently trusted in over 1,000 factories worldwide, the FreeGlide™ is engineered to capture high-quality samples as powder falls under gravity through a process pipe.
How the FreeGlide™ Works
The system’s brilliance lies in its simplicity and patented technology:
Extension: A collection cup extends into the heart of the powder flow.
Collection: The sample is captured in the cup without being compressed or altered.
Inversion: Once retracted, the cup is inverted, dropping the sample safely into a collection bag or bottle.
Full Bore Flow: Between sampling cycles, the cup retracts completely, leaving the full bore of the pipe available for uninterrupted powder flow.
Key Advantages for Food & Pharma
Contamination-Free Design: At the core of the FreeGlide™ is a special patented flexible Diaphragm. This diaphragm separates the dusty product area from the mechanical rear assembly, ensuring the device never sticks or jams during operation.
Premium Materials: To meet stringent sanitary standards, all contact parts are manufactured from 316L stainless steel or FDA-acceptable polymers.
Ease of Maintenance: The system is designed for rapid strip-down, making it quick and easy to clean between different batches—a critical requirement for preventing cross-contamination.
Operation Flexibility: Available in a range of sizes with either manual or automated pneumatic operation to fit any production scale.
Why Choose the FreeGlide™?
Unlike other samplers that can "shear" or damage delicate powders, the FreeGlide™ ensures the sample is collected in a cup, meaning it is not physically altered. This provides your lab with a truly representative specimen of your production quality.
